[1st] Blind coffee experience
In early September 2025, we held our first blind coffee experience.
We conducted a survey of 29 customers, tasting the coffees without revealing the brand information and standardizing all conditions except for the roast profile.
The coffee beans used are " Ethiopia Guji Shakisso Natural" .
The same beans were also served at the TYPICA GUIDE 2025 booth held at the Osaka Kansai Expo on September 28, 2025.

Below are the analysis results for each profile.
*The information is still being analyzed and will be updated.

RATA is
It is an abbreviation for Rate-All-That-Apply .
Meaning and Overview
-
The "assess all attributes that you think apply" method.
-
Conventional CATA (Check-All-That-Apply) simply checks the applicable attributes, but
RATA further rates the intensity of the checked attributes (for example, on a scale of 0-3 or 0-5) . -
This allows you to record not just whether something is there or not, but also how strongly it is felt .
