<Story>

This lot is produced by Nigusse Gemeda, who won the 2020 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence. Karamo Washing Station (WS) collects cherries not only from his directly managed farms but also from small-scale producers in the surrounding area.
Mr. Nigusse has built extremely strong relationships with the producers in this region by consistently promoting understanding of quality over the medium to long term. The quality of this coffee is a testament to the persistent efforts made to encourage producers to bring high-quality cherries.

Karamo WS is Mr. Nigusse's most quality-focused processing facility, and it maintains very strict standards. From cherry ripeness selection to precise moisture content, a significant number of people are involved in each step of the process, ensuring a commitment to quality first. Only perfectly ripe cherries are carefully harvested and sorted, then slowly dried on African beds, resulting in rich sweetness, vibrant fruit flavors, and a clean, transparent cup.
