<El Injerto Farm>

El Injerto is now one of the most famous farms in the world of specialty coffee. It first came to the world stage at the 2002 Guatemala Cup of Excellence. Of the 33 farms nominated, two were nominated, one of which immediately won third place on its debut. This coffee, with its gorgeous, floral, and exceptional flavor, continued to captivate people around the world, eventually winning first place at the 2008 COE, with a price of $80.20 per pound, the highest trading price at the Guatemala COE at the time.

The first owner of this farm, Jesús Aguirre, started the farm in 1874. He started by cultivating sugarcane and tobacco leaves, and in 1900 he began growing coffee. "Injerto" is named after a fruit that grows wild in this area. Currently, the third and fourth generations of Aguirre's family have been managing the farm since 1956, and it is known in both name and reality as one of the world's best coffee farms.
