<Story>

This product is a lot produced by Niguse Gemeda, winner of the 2020 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence. Karamo Washing Station produces washed, natural, and anaerobic natural coffees using cherries from his own farm and approximately 800 small producers in the surrounding area.

The Karamo Washing Station processes Niguse's most quality-focused batches. From ripeness sorting of cherries to precise moisture content during drying, a significant number of people are involved in each step, ensuring quality comes first. This process involves approximately 120 hours of anaerobic fermentation. After that, the cherries are hand-sorted, and the drying process is also carried out under shade. To ensure even drying, the cherries are stirred for approximately 23 days to reduce the moisture content.
