This is a spring-harvested tea from the misty tea gardens of the Ilam region of Nepal. When hot water is poured over the beautiful tea leaves, which contain silvery tips, the liquor turns a lemon color. The delicate white flowers rising from the cup, combined with the refreshing, fresh green aroma and the honey-like sweetness that spreads in the mouth, pass down the throat. Each sip offers a clean taste and a pleasant sweet aftertaste. We highly recommend enjoying it straight. It is also perfect as a cold brew iced tea on summer days.

＜Mist Valley Tea Estate＞

Located in the eastern Ilam region of Nepal, as its name suggests, this tea garden is situated in a "misty valley." Tea cultivation began here in 1989, and the elevation is approximately 1,300 meters. Located in a remote area, it produces high-quality black tea nurtured by pure air and mist. As a tea garden in the Ilam region, its consistent quality has steadily captured the hearts of tea lovers and continues to gain fans. Much of its production consists of top-quality orthodox black teas, with a large portion shipped to tea companies in France and Germany.
Committed to coexistence with the environment, the tea garden obtained organic certification in 2017 and is dedicated to producing safe tea.

＜Nepalese Black Tea, Popular in Europe for Centuries＞

Black and green teas have been produced in Nepal for a long time, gaining popularity in their main export markets like Europe. In recent years, due to their high quality and affordable prices, they have also become known in Japan.

Characteristics of Nepalese tea production include small-scale farming where tea factories buy tea leaves from farmers to process them into black tea, and joint ventures where farmers pool resources to collectively manage tea gardens.
Due to its proximity to Darjeeling, there is extensive technical exchange with Indian tea professionals, leading to the production of high-quality teas. However, compared to Darjeeling, the region lacks strong brand recognition, so despite its high quality, the prices are relatively affordable. It can be said to be one of the recommended tea-producing regions where you can enjoy sweet, clear, high-quality, and delicious tea at a reasonable price.
