<Santa Rita Farm>

Santa Rita Farm is located at the foot of the Santa Ana Volcano in Sonsonate State in western El Salvador. The farm's volcanic ash soil, combined with the humus produced by the leaves of shade trees, creates an ideal soil environment for growing high-quality coffee. The farm cultivates Bourbon, Pacas, and Pacamara, all of which are Bourbon varieties.

The Bourbon grape variety is grown in the highest altitude area of the farm, producing high-quality coffee every year. Traditionally, El Salvadorians harvest cherries slowly under the shade of the cherries until they ripen to a reddish-purple color. The washed coffee made from these ripe, mature cherries has a bright, refreshing taste, as well as a floral flavor, creating a flavor characteristic unique to El Salvador.
