<Don Pepe Farm>

This family-run coffee farm was established in 1898 and is known as Panama's first coffee specialty company.
Located in the valley of the Baru Volcano (1,500-2,000m above sea level) in the western Chiriquí province, the fertile volcanic soil and cool climate allow high-quality coffee to be grown.
We have been producing specialty coffee for five generations.

<Production and Environmental Initiatives>

Of the 70 hectares of the farm, 59 hectares are used for production and 11 hectares are managed as a nature reserve.
We separate plots by variety and thoroughly manage everything from harvesting to drying in small lots.
All lots are sun-dried on 100% African beds and then finished through repeated stirring and sorting.
We are also focusing on environmental conservation, such as by introducing machines that reduce water usage.
