TEAPOND Nilgiri 2026 Quality Season Chamraj Estate L627 FOP Supreme
A fresh taste and a sweet aftertaste from the tea leaves.
Nilgiri tea is appealing for its flavor that smoothly permeates the throat.
Nilgiri, a tea-producing region in South India, means "blue mountain." This particular brand is made from tea leaves picked during the peak season at a popular tea garden.
The amber-colored tea has a flat, smooth, and easy-to-drink flavor with noクセ. It passes smoothly down the throat, and its sweet and refreshing taste, derived from the tea leaves, makes it ideal as an iced tea on hot days. It pairs well with citrus aromas, so you can enjoy it deliciously by floating a slice of lemon or orange in it.

<Chamraj Tea Estate>
The Chamraj Tea Estate began its history in 1922.
Located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, it is a tea garden that continues to produce high-quality, sweet, and fragrant Nilgiri tea, characteristic of high-grown teas. Its sister tea garden is Korakundah Tea Estate. Both are known for their consistent quality and are recognized in Japan as one of the representative tea gardens of Nilgiri.
It was one of the first tea gardens in India to adopt the fair trade system. It focuses on the welfare of its workers and their families, and also strives to improve schooling up to higher education for the children of the tea garden staff.
<Nilgiri, the "Blue Mountain">
Nilgiri, meaning "blue mountain" in the local language, is said to be named for the Kurinji flowers that bloom all at once every 12 years, making the mountains appear blue.
The last mass blooming was in 2018, so the next blooming is expected in 2030.
