「青い山」を意味する南インドの紅茶の産地ニルギリ。旬を迎えた人気茶園で摘み取られた銘柄です。
琥珀色の茶液は、フラットでクセがなく飲みやすい味わい。すっきりと喉を通り過ぎ、茶葉の持つ甘さと清涼な風味が感じられる味わいは、暑い日にはアイスティーもおすすめです。柑橘の香りとの相性が良いので、レモンやオレンジの輪切りを一枚浮かべても美味しくお召し上がりいただけます。

＜チャムラジ茶園＞

1922年、その歴史をスタートさせたチャムラジ茶園。
2,000メートルを超える標高に位置し、ハイグロウンならではの、上質で、甘くフラワリーな香り高いニルギリティーを作り続けている茶園です。姉妹茶園としてコラクンダ茶園があります。どちらも確かなクオリティーから、日本ではニルギリを代表する茶園のひとつとして名前が知れています。
インドの茶園の中で、いちはやくフェアトレード制度を導入。茶園で働くスタッフやその家族の福利厚生に力を入れ、茶園スタッフの子供たちに対して、高等教育までの学校教育充実にも力をいれています。

＜青い山と呼ばれる場所・ニルギリ＞

現地の言葉で「青い山」を意味するニルギリ。そのいわれは、12年に一度、この地で一斉に咲き誇るクリンジの花によって、山々が青く見えるからと言われています。
前回は2018年に一斉開花したそうなので、次回は2030年に開花が見られるといわれています。

A : We issue receipts to customers who request them. (We may not be able to issue receipts depending on the payment method.) Once payment has been confirmed, we will send you a receipt by email.
